Mini sessions are the perfect way to capture a handful of moments. In Spring and Autumn I hold mini session days where families can get in front of the camera for a 15 minute photoshoot to capture a snapshot of their lives.
It might sound short, but you’d be surprised at what we can capture in 15 minutes. From siblings holding hands and toddling along the paths, to family snuggles on the bench and time spent on the lawn playing and just being you.
Minis are the perfect snapshot of life as it is today, and those memories are the ones we’ll hold on to for years to come.
Dates will be listed below and the booking link will be live when minis are active.

You’ll love my Sapling sessions. They are a short and sweet 30 minute sessions that are held year round in your choice of location in Hobsons Bay or surrounds. These sessions are perfect for those who need a different date, would love to include extra family members or have a different location in mind.

Enter your details and make payment to confirm your spot.
Three
Arrive 5-10 minutes early. These sessions are short and sweet, so you don’t want to miss your slot!
Four
Spam gran with your new pics, print your favourites and upgrade to the entire gallery if you wish.
On the day it’s best to arrive a few minutes early to sort out any last minute wardrobe arrangements and to give children a chance to stretch their legs.
Once we get started I’ll gently prompt you if needed, or simply let you interact naturally. The session will go quite fast, so we’ll move around and I’ll change angles to ensure there’s variety in our shots.
Best of all as well as beautiful photos, you’re working with a mum of two, who’s an expert at living life at a fast pace. At the end of the session you’ll have a handful of beautiful images to love and a bunch of new memories too.
Please note that all mini sessions are prepaid and non refundable or transferrable without consultation. If you have to cancel, I will do my best to find someone else to take your spot.
Life, paused
Once edited, I’ll send a link to your online gallery. You can download your images in high and low resolution. You have 14 days to download your images before your gallery closes.
Every package includes a set number of images that are included in the price. Additional images above this are $25 each or the entire gallery upgrade is $100.
It takes around 2 weeks for your gallery to be ready.
Firstly, you need to be comfortable and feel good. My sessions are predominantly outdoors and my style of photography is earthy and natural. Colours like greens, tan, burnt orange, navy and mustard look great. Avoid neons and clothes with logos.
All sessions include a comprehensive guide to help you prepare for the session and guide you with your outfit choices.

Laura is a Melbourne family photographer based in Hobsons Bay. She offers relaxed family photography, maternity photography, newborn photography and small event photography in Melbourne’s west and surrounds.
This includes (but isn’t limited to) the suburbs of Werribee, Point Cook, Altona, Williamstown, Yarraville and Newport. Laura is known for her earthy toned outdoor photography and ability to make family photos feel comfortable and fun.
