My relaxed style of newborn photography is about capturing those fleeting newborn moments, features and routines like tiny feet and spindly legs that will soon chub up.
I’ll take a combination of semi-posed shots in a natural woven basket, family portraits and candid shots so you leave your session with plenty of images for your walls and albums.
And, if you’re worried that your home isn’t Insta-worthy – don’t. I’m here to capture love and connection (not the dishes in the sink), so I’ll work with your space and light to make the magic happen.

During the planning stage, we’ll discuss whether your home or an outdoor location works best for you.
As a Melbourne newborn photographer who has two young boys of her own, I understand that feeling comfortable during your session is important, so I’ll work around your needs and routines.
On the day I’ll take time to chat to you before we get into the session. This gives you and any older children a little time to warm up to me.
Once we get started I’ll gently prompt you if needed, or simply let you run and play. There’s plenty of time for snuggles and settling breaks (in fact they’re encouraged!) and for older children to have a break from being in front of the lens.
Best of all as well as beautiful photos, you’ll also get the benefit of working with an experienced primary school teacher. I have hours of practice interacting with children.

Once edited, I’ll send a link to your online gallery. You can download your images in high and low resolution. You have 14 days to download your images before your gallery closes.
Every package includes a set number of images that are included in the price. If you’d like to purchase additional images they’re available for $25 each, or you can upgrade to the whole gallery.
Officially my turn around time for your initial gallery is two weeks. Generally I’m as excited to view your images as you are, so usually it’s much faster than this.
Firstly, you need to be comfortable and feel good. My sessions are predominantly outdoors and my style of photography is earthy and natural. Colours like greens, tan, burnt orange, navy and mustard look great. Avoid neons and clothes with logos. You will receive a complimentary session preparation guide prior to your photoshoot that will also help you to decide.
I’m based in Hobsons Bay and have a range of beautiful locations that I can share with you. You can choose from your home, the beach, parks and bushland.
If you have a location in mind that’s a little further away, get in touch as I charge a small travel fee for locations over 10km from home.
